Biography
Eva Koch is an evolutionary biologist interested in the genetic basis and mechanisms of adaptation. She is currently a postdoc in Chris Jiggins' group at the Department of Zoology. Eva obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Zurich, where she investigated the role of gene expression in adaptation to new climate conditions. She was then a postdoc at the University of Sheffield, studying the contribution of chromosomal inversions to ecotype evolution. Her current work focuses on a colour polymorphism in the wood tiger moth and explores how and why it is maintained.
